Campitch is a booking platform — we do not own or operate any of the campsites listed. We provide the tools to search, communicate, and book directly through our website, while enabling campsite owners to manage their own listings, availability, and content.
💰 Payment & Booking Handling
When you make a booking through Campitch:
- Payment is processed securely via our platform.
- Funds are held in a secure intermediary account and are only released to the campsite owner after check-in or after the booking has been confirmed and not disputed.
- This approach safeguards both campers and campsite owners by reducing the risk of fraud, cancellations, and no-shows.
🔍 Campsite Responsibility
Each campsite owner is responsible for:
- Entering accurate and truthful information about their site, facilities, and availability.
- Keeping their listing up to date.
- Honouring bookings and clearly communicating site rules or restrictions.
Campitch cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party listing details and is not liable for discrepancies. However, we actively monitor for abuse, investigate complaints, and remove listings that violate our policies.
🔐 Camper Safety
We take every step to ensure a safe, reliable booking experience:
- Our platform includes a Trustability Score system, based on camper reviews and site responsiveness.
- New and unrated campsites are clearly labelled so you can make informed decisions.
- We maintain strict vendor guidelines and manual verification processes where needed.
If an issue arises, we encourage campers to contact us immediately. Our support team will review your case, liaise with the campsite, and do all we can to find a fair resolution.

Campitch acts as a facilitator only. We are not responsible for:
- The physical condition, cleanliness, or services offered at any campsite.
- Cancellations or disputes between the camper and the campsite.
- Personal injuries, loss, damage, or other incidents occurring during your stay.
We recommend that campers always travel with adequate insurance, and read all listing details carefully before booking.
